Athletes, Why s.W.E.A.T.?

As an athlete, you want to take your sport skills to the highest level. S.W.E.A.T. (Speed, Weights, Endurance, Agility, and Technique) offers the most comprehensive performance training and injury prevention program in the area and allows you the opportunity to reach your potential as an athlete. The summer months is the only time athletes like you get an opportunity to really work on off season skills and push your development away from the field of competition. Our goal at S.W.E.A.T. is to provide you with the tools and training necessary to take the next step in your athletic career. Whether you are trying to compete at a higher level or just want to become faster or stronger, we are dedicated to help you reach those goals.

Programs

Our summer S.W.E.A.T. program starts and ends with physical exercise testing to show just how much our athletes have improved over the course of the program.  Athletes can then apply what they have gained and learned into their sport of choice. We focus our 6 weeks of training on quickness, speed, agility, endurance and power with selection of specific exercises that not only improve physical performance but emphasize proper jumping and landing technique. This will decrease participants’ chance of a serious knee injury and will maximize sport performance.

We also offer 3 day spring camp over Spring break for conditioning, agility and speed work in addition to isolated sport specific training. These camps will be offered in Alexandria, Wheaton and Parkers Prairie.

Facility

We house our workouts at Jefferson High School in Alexandria and at Wheaton High School. Here we have access to basketball courts, grass fields, track and well equipped weight room for strength training. The convenience of a multi surfaces facility with access to a fully equipped weight room breeds an environment of hard work, motivation, and excitement for all ages.

Instructors

Our team of instructors has strong backgrounds in athletic training, strength and conditioning, nutrition, exercise physiology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation. We continue to work in the high school, college, and clinical settings and hold specific certifications in athletic training and strength and conditioning which you can take advantage of. Please feel free to contact us at any time during the year for consultations about your health and/or training.
